The Youth Reformation and Leadership Skills Development Foundation has applauded the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, for his unwavering commitment and strategic leadership in improving national security across Nigeria.
In a press statement issued in Kaduna, the Director-General of the foundation, Comrade Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu, lauded the CDS for his tireless efforts in safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians amid complex security challenges facing the country.
According to the statement, General Musa’s proactive and well-informed approach to national security has continued to yield tangible results in various regions, reinforcing public confidence in the capabilities of the armed forces.
“The leadership of General Musa reflects a deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of Nigeria’s security landscape. His efforts have not only stabilized critical areas but also strengthened the morale and professionalism within the security forces,” Comrade Aliyu stated.
The group emphasized that achieving sustainable peace and security in Nigeria requires synergy among all stakeholders, government agencies, civil society, traditional institutions, and the communities themselves.
“We firmly believe that only through collaboration and shared responsibility can we overcome the security challenges confronting our nation. The CDS has demonstrated how effective leadership can unify various security efforts for national progress,” the statement read.
The foundation also commended the broader Nigerian security architecture for its ongoing efforts in maintaining law and order, urging officers to remain committed and undeterred in the face of adversity.
Highlighting the link between national security and development, the foundation stressed the critical role of youth empowerment and inclusive development in promoting long-term stability and peace.
The statement further called on Nigerians to uphold national unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and support initiatives that foster community-based security and socio-economic growth.
“The future of Nigeria lies in our collective ability to stand united, empower our youth, and support institutions working towards peace and progress.
“We commend General Musa’s efforts and urge all stakeholders to join hands in building a safe, stable, and prosperous Nigeria,” Comrade Aliyu concluded.
