Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has extended warm birthday wishes to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message released from Abuja, Senator Nwoko described Governor Oborevwori’s life as “phenomenal,” noting that his six decades on earth have been marked by divine grace and purposeful leadership.
Reflecting on the Governor’s journey, Senator Nwoko highlighted Oborevwori’s evolution from a grassroots leader to a businessman, politician, and now administrator, describing him as a symbol of humility, resilience, and courage.
“His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is a unique leader who has defied the odds to attain greatness, ultimately becoming the Governor of Delta State,” Nwoko stated.
“I admire his humane yet determined disposition. Attaining such a position in a multi-ethnic and politically dynamic state like Delta is a remarkable achievement.”
He commended the Governor’s commitment to delivering on his M.O.R.E Agenda, particularly in the areas of social infrastructure and human capital development, aligning seamlessly with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope vision.
“As he continues to steer the affairs of Delta State, I pray God grants him more wisdom, strength, and discernment to lead with inclusiveness and equity for all ethnic groups in the state,” he added.
