Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State is set to host a 1,000-man political solidarity walk on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in a show of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The exercise, scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m., is expected to attract political leaders, party chieftains, grassroots mobilisers, supporters and other stakeholders from across the local government area.
Participants are expected to assemble at Koko Garage, Warri North, the designated take-off point, before proceeding with the solidarity procession.
The convener, Dr. Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Affairs, said the initiative was designed to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, consolidate party support and provide an avenue for APC faithful to publicly demonstrate their commitment to the party’s political aspirations.
Ojoede urged party members, residents, political associates and other supporters to turn out in large numbers for the exercise, emphasising the importance of unity, collective participation and sustained grassroots engagement ahead of the forthcoming elections.
He noted that the solidarity walk would provide an opportunity for supporters to demonstrate their backing for the re-election bids of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, alongside other APC candidates seeking elective positions in 2027.
The planned procession forms part of ongoing political mobilisation efforts by APC stakeholders in Delta State as the party intensifies activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
