Frontline senatorial aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rex Biose, has completed an extensive consultative tour of the nine local government areas in Delta North Senatorial District, urging party leaders and members to embrace unity as preparations intensify for the party’s forthcoming primaries.

Throughout the tour, Biose, widely associated with the Obidient political movement, stressed that internal cohesion remains critical to the ADC’s prospects in the 2027 general elections.

Engaging party faithful across the district, he called on stakeholders to set aside differences and work collaboratively toward strengthening the party’s structure and electoral viability.

Reaffirming his ambition, the aspirant expressed optimism about securing the party’s senatorial ticket, pledging to deliver a decisive victory if given the mandate.

He noted that the momentum generated during the 2023 general elections continues to resonate, describing it as a foundation upon which future successes can be built.

According to him, “The enthusiasm, organisational strength, and dedication that characterised the 2023 elections remain firmly in place. Indeed, they have evolved and are better positioned to drive success in the coming electoral cycle.”

Biose further underscored his commitment to the core values of transparency, accountability, and competence, which he identified as central to his political philosophy and leadership approach.

He maintained that these principles have consistently guided his political engagements and would define his stewardship if elected.

Political observers described the tour as impactful, citing the warm reception he received across the district and the growing confidence among party stakeholders in his capacity to mobilise grassroots support.

Many leaders reportedly view his candidacy as a potential catalyst for repositioning the ADC as a competitive force in Delta North.

Against the backdrop of economic pressures and increasing public discontent with governance, analysts believe that emerging figures like Biose could significantly influence the political dynamics of the district ahead of 2027.

Party stakeholders who hosted the aspirant during the tour also signalled strong backing, expressing optimism that his emergence as the ADC flag bearer would enhance the party’s electoral prospects in the senatorial district
