As Nigeria’s National Assembly enters its third legislative year, Hon. Ngozi Lawrence Okolie, the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has marked his second anniversary in office with a heartfelt message celebrating a journey of commitment, accessibility, and results-driven representation.
In a statement released today, Hon. Okolie reflected on the achievements of the past two years, describing the period as “a journey of leadership, dedication, and service to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili.”
He acknowledged the trust reposed in him by his constituents and emphasized that his tenure so far has been anchored on integrity, responsiveness, and impact.
“From pushing forward impactful legislation to championing the needs of the grassroots, I have remained guided by a deep belief that leadership is about service, not status,” Okolie said.
Over the last two years, the lawmaker has been actively involved in key parliamentary processes sponsoring and supporting bills, raising motions on pressing national and local issues, and delivering constituency-focused projects.
He highlighted progress in critical sectors including education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, asserting that each intervention was a promise kept.
“Let us not forget the many motions raised, the bills supported, and the projects delivered each a testament to a promise kept,” he stated.
“Beyond the walls of parliament, I have remained accessible, listening to my people, standing with them, and walking hand in hand towards progress.”
Hon. Okolie also used the occasion to thank the people of Aniocha/Oshimili for their continued support and engagement, describing their partnership as the true engine behind the successes recorded so far.
“Today, we celebrate more than a date. We celebrate vision, commitment, and impact,” he noted.
“May this anniversary mark not just a milestone, but a motivation for greater heights, for deeper impact, and for continued service to humanity.”
Concluding his message, Okolie reaffirmed his pledge to continue serving with purpose and transparency, promising that the next phase of his legislative journey would build on the foundations already laid.
The anniversary comes at a time when the lawmaker is increasingly being recognized among his peers for his principled leadership style and constituency-driven approach, making Aniocha/Oshimili a model of people-oriented representation in the 10th National Assembly.
