The Nigeria Police Force has declared journalist Tega Samson Oghenedoro, popularly known as Fejiro Oliver, wanted over alleged cyberstalking and defamatory publications on Facebook.
The declaration was contained in a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Delta State Police Command, Asaba.
The bulletin, published in an advertorial on page 45 of Vanguard Newspaper on August 8, 2026, stated that Oghenedoro is wanted in connection with alleged offences arising from publications made through a Facebook account bearing the name “Fejiro Oliver.”
According to the police, the alleged offences were committed between May and July 2025 on the social media platform.
The bulletin, issued pursuant to the authority of the Inspector-General of Police, identified Oghenedoro as a 38-year-old journalist of Urhobo origin.
The police also provided details of his physical appearance, describing him as approximately 1.6 metres tall, medium-built, with a copper complexion, oval-shaped face and thick hair.
His last known address was listed as Cyrus Excel Estate, Abuja, while Lagos and Abuja were identified as places he was known to frequent.
The police urged anyone with credible information that could assist in locating Oghenedoro to report to the nearest police station or contact the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, CID, Delta State Police Command Headquarters, Okpanam Road, Asaba.
A dedicated telephone contact was also provided by the police for information relating to the case.
The declaration comes amid an ongoing investigation into the alleged offences.
However, being declared wanted by the police does not amount to a conviction. Oghenedoro remains presumed innocent unless and until he is found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction.
