2027: Mulade Takes NDP Campaign To Warri North Riverine Communities

The National Democratic Party (NDP) candidate for Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Sheriff Mulade, PhD, has intensified his grassroots campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections, taking his message directly to riverine communities across Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.**

The candidate, accompanied by members of his campaign team, embarked on a creek-to-creek mobilisation tour covering Eghoro, Gbokoda, Opuama, Polobubor and other riverine settlements, where he interacted with residents, traditional rulers, women and youths.

The outreach was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots presence, engaging directly with voters and drawing attention to the development concerns of communities often challenged by geographical isolation and inadequate access to essential infrastructure.

Speaking during the visits, Mulade emphasised the importance of ensuring that residents of riverine communities have a voice in the political process, stressing that their concerns must receive adequate attention in governance and legislative representation.

Community representatives reportedly welcomed the candidate and his team, describing the engagement as an opportunity for residents to express their expectations and concerns.

They also called for stronger political representation and accelerated development across the riverine areas.

In a demonstration of support for education and community welfare, the campaign team distributed writing materials to pupils and students of Iwere College, Koko, and Eghoro Primary School.

Mosquito nets and other relief materials were also distributed to residents as part of the outreach programme.

Mulade urged party supporters and campaign coordinators to sustain the mobilisation drive and extend their engagement to neighbouring communities, expressing confidence in the NDP’s grassroots appeal ahead of the 2027 elections.

The creek-to-creek campaign forms part of the candidate’s broader strategy to deepen voter engagement and consolidate support across Warri Federal Constituency as political activities gather momentum.
