A political movement, Ezarobe Political Movement Worldwide, has declared its support for Nelson Egware, PhD, as its preferred candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly seat representing Isoko North State Constituency II in the 2027 elections.
The group, led by its Founder and Curator, Omojefe Roberts Efeturi, expressed confidence in Egware’s capacity to provide purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected.
According to the campaign message, Egware’s proposed leadership vision is anchored on four key priorities: putting the people first, promoting accountable leadership, driving sustainable development and fostering unity across Isoko North.
The group said its support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate is based on its belief that Egware possesses the leadership qualities required to advance the interests of the constituency and contribute meaningfully to its development.
The campaign also emphasised the need for a stronger and more united Isoko North, with a commitment to infrastructure development, community empowerment and responsive representation.
The movement urged constituents to rally behind Egware, describing the 2027 election as an opportunity to chart a new course for the constituency.
“Together, let’s build a greater Isoko North,” the campaign message stated, while calling on residents and stakeholders to support Egware’s political ambition.
The endorsement adds to the emerging political activities ahead of the 2027 Delta State House of Assembly elections, as aspirants and support groups begin to mobilise across constituencies.
ICC Backs Egware, Appeals To Oborevwori
Meanwhile, the Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel (ICC), an arm of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, under the leadership of Kenneth Orusi, has appealed to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to consider Dr. Nelson Egware for the opportunity to represent the people of Isoko North State Constituency II in the State House of Assembly.
The chapel described Egware as a competent and dedicated professional whose record of service as Executive Assistant to the Governor on Media has demonstrated his commitment to duty and public service.
ICC said Egware’s experience in the media and his understanding of government operations have positioned him as a credible candidate capable of providing effective representation and advancing the interests of his constituents.
The chapel therefore urged the Governor and relevant stakeholders to give serious consideration to Egware’s aspiration, stressing the importance of competence, commitment and proven service in selecting candidates for elective positions.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled Saturday, August 22, 2026, for its primary elections to select candidates for the three recently restored State House of Assembly constituencies in Delta State.
