A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North, Chief Emma Ejiofor, has thrown his weight behind Senator Ned Nwoko’s re-election bid, declaring that no credible opposition stands a chance against the lawmaker in 2027.

In an exclusive interview, Chief Ejiofor described Nwoko as a political powerhouse whose influence transcends party lines. “Nobody is contesting Senator Nwoko’s position with him,” he said.

“Those shenanigans that are talking we will tell them we are miles ahead of them.”

Ejiofor hailed Nwoko’s performance in the National Assembly, emphasizing that his representation has elevated the stature of the Anioma people.

“If you go to the National Assembly, you’ll be proud to be Anioma. You have a colossus as senator, respected by all. That’s what we need in governance,” he stated.

He credited the recent wave of defections from the PDP to APC in Delta North to Nwoko’s influence, saying: “If Ned had not moved, they wouldn’t have moved. He’s the reason for the political realignment.”

Ejiofor went further to liken Nwoko’s strategic prowess to artificial intelligence. “Ned is AI himself, he provides solutions tailored to any political challenge. He won’t face stiff competition in returning to the Senate,” he added.

He criticized token empowerment schemes like distributing sewing or grinding machines, contrasting them with Nwoko’s large-scale developmental focus.

“Don’t you want them to tar the Oko-Patani road? What about the Idumuje-Ugboko dam? The Okpai power plant and Ogwashi-Uku dam? He must complete them,” Ejiofor emphasized.

Declaring full APC support for Nwoko’s return, Ejiofor concluded: “Now that we finally have a voice in Delta North, mark that word, we must send him back to finish all he has started.”

Nwoko, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, is currently representing Delta North and remains a dominant figure in the political landscape of Delta State
