Comrade Kenneth Onojomena Obieh, a frontline chairmanship aspirant, has congratulated the Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Hon. Charles Aniagwu, on his birthday, describing him as an accomplished leader, mentor and outstanding image-maker.
In a goodwill message issued to mark Aniagwu’s birthday, Onojomena commended the commissioner for combining effective public communication with visible contributions to governance and development in Delta State.
He described Aniagwu as a communicator whose approach to public information goes beyond rhetoric, noting that his ability to articulate government policies and connect them with the experiences of ordinary citizens has strengthened public understanding of the state’s development agenda.
According to him, Aniagwu’s distinctive communication style has earned him recognition as one of Nigeria’s foremost public-sector image-makers.
“Anytime you speak, the people listen. Your articulate, bold and people-centred communication style has continued to endear you to the people,” Onojomena said.
The chairmanship aspirant also acknowledged Aniagwu’s support for the State Information Chapel during his tenure as chairman, saying the commissioner’s encouragement and commitment contributed significantly to the success of the chapel at the time.
Onojomena said Aniagwu’s support demonstrated his understanding of the importance of a vibrant and professional information management system in strengthening governance and public engagement.
He prayed for God to grant the commissioner many more years in good health, wisdom and greater opportunities to contribute to humanity and the development of Delta State.
“Delta State is proud of you, and Nigeria is proud of you. I wish you a wonderful birthday and many more years of impactful service,” he added.
Onojomena urged Aniagwu to remain committed to his contributions to public service, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, effective communication and the promotion of the Delta story.
