Leader Olumba’s Annual Public Lecture Hinges On Africa’s Unique Legacies, Says BCS Spokesman

“Leader Olumba Olumba Obu annual public lecture series, serves as a platform to draw the attention of leaders of various opinion and the entire humanity to his examplary lifestyle and teachings”, Patriarch Christ Shepherd Ogar Osim, has said.

Osim, who is the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Deputy Spokesman cum Coordinator, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Public Lecture, equally disclosed that the lecture provides a stage where seasoned and experienced individuals present their thoughts and reflect on the Divine works of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu as it concerns humanity.

The BCS spokesman stated this during a press conference to herald the second edition of the annual public lecture billed for Tuesday 22nd December in Calabar, Cross River State, at the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Pentecostal Centre, Asaba, Delta State

According to him, the theme of this year’s public lecture: “Reflecting on the unique legacies of Africa”, is an extract of one of the teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu with a question tag: “What is Africa’s Ideology?

“In that sermon, Leader Obu, revealed that ‘Africa is the richest continent of the world and its economic and spiritual significance cannot be disputed by Western Theology, Mysticism and Eastern Spiritual Masters”.

Olumba Olumba Obu revealed that this is the time for the restoration of the lost glory of the black race, saying that those whom God has graciously kept in position of leadership in Africa must realize this and rekindle their effort towards making Africa great.

Hear him: “in the 1970s, some whites from the United States of America approached leader Olumba Olumba Obu and pleaded that he should relocate to the United States.

“They promised to evangelized the whole world for him and provide him with the best living condition if only he will accept to move to the Western World.

“But Leader Olumba Olumba Obu refused their selfish offer because according to him, this is the time for the black race to host God. ‘Africa is the ideal place for God. The abundance of Natural resources in Africa points to the blessings and unique love God has for Africa”.

Guest lecturers billed to do justice at the Olumba Olumba Obu Public Lecture are Prof. Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba of Kenyan, while dignitaries expected to attend the event include Senator Victor Ndoma Egba, the former Majority Leader of Nigerian Senate, Senator Owan Enoh, Prince Jeddy Goddy Agba, minister of State Power.

Others are the governor of Cross River State, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, former Governor of Cross River State, Dr. Donald Duke among other political leaders, Royal fathers, Media Practitioners and celebrities.

The December 22nd event would bring hundreds of personalities from across the world to Cross River State, while more than 10, 000 participants across the world would join through Zoom and other media platforms.

It would be recall that the maiden edition of the Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Public Lecture with the theme: “Servant Leadership and the Might of Meekness”, a key aspect of the teachings and lifestyle of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, was presented by eminent personalities such as the former governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke, Nigerian High Commissioner to Uganda, Ambassador Etubom Nya Asuguo and the distinguished Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Senator (PCS) B. W. Degi.

The choristers held visitors to a standstill with their melodious voices in their usual ways of welcoming and entertaining their guests.

His Grace, Archbishop Nixon Edi-Osisike, BCS Delta State Administrator; His Grace, Archbishop Steven Ideji, Her Eminence, Nora Oputa, Christ Ambassador Sylvester Eboigbe and other leaders of BCS in Delta State, were among those who were present at the press briefing.
