The Zamfara State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), represented by the Jajiya Political Movement, has pledged to actively engage in all party activities to ensure the success of the APC.
Led by Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, PhD, the political leader and member of the National Assembly representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, the movement convened a stakeholders’ meeting in Kaduna, where they reiterated their commitment to the party and its initiatives.
The gathering, attended by key stakeholders and party supporters, resolved to participate in all upcoming activities organized by the APC National Headquarters in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
The Jajiya Movement confirmed its arrangements to engage in the forthcoming party congresses and to adhere to the procedural requirements for the ongoing party membership e-registration exercise.
Additionally, the movement expressed unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 general elections.
“We unanimously endorse Rt. Hon. Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji for Governor of Zamfara State and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in 2027,” the movement declared with one voice.
Addressing the supporters, Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji emphasized that the meeting aimed to reinforce their commitment to the APC and its 2027 electoral agenda, while also assuring full support for President Tinubu.
He commended the loyalty and dedication of APC supporters in Zamfara and urged them to sustain their efforts.
Hon. Nasiru Zarumi Masama, Chairman of the Jajiya Coordinating Committee, affirmed the movement’s readiness to support Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji’s gubernatorial candidacy, stating, “We believe Hon. Sani Jaji is the most suitable person to lead Zamfara State.”
He highlighted Jaji’s track record of dedication and service as essential qualities needed to guide the state out of its current challenges.
The event garnered enthusiasm from attendees, who expressed their commitment to ensure Hon. Jaji’s success in the upcoming elections.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji conveyed gratitude for the support and endorsement from the movement.
The Jajiya Movement has consistently been a strong ally of the APC in Zamfara and is poised to enhance the party’s structure and readiness for the approaching elections through their involvement in congresses and e-registration.
Despite facing challenges such as internal conflicts and defections affecting its recent electoral performance, the APC, with the backing of the Jajiya Movement, is optimistic about revitalizing its influence in the state.
As the 2027 general elections approach, the competitive landscape remains dynamic, with numerous parties contesting power in Zamfara.
