An aide to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olalekan Oyeyemi, popularly known as Emir Ajagungbade, has reportedly been killed in Ile-Ife amid a lingering crisis over the leadership of motor parks in the state.
Oyeyemi, said to be a member of the Accord Party, was reportedly attacked during a meeting with transporters in the town.
Sources said the incident occurred after some individuals allegedly invaded the meeting venue, with Oyeyemi reportedly attacked with stones.
The development is said to be connected to the ongoing leadership dispute involving two factions within the motor park system, both reportedly loyal to Governor Adeleke.
