The Director-General of the Senator Ned Nwoko Campaign Council, Hon. Samuel Ekene Kerry, has stated that the lawmaker’s performance in office has justified growing calls for his re-election to the Senate in 2027.

Hon. Kerry said Senator Nwoko’s achievements within a relatively short period have clearly set him apart from other political figures seeking to represent Delta North Senatorial District.

According to him, the senator has displayed exceptional courage, legislative competence, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Anioma land and Nigeria as a whole.

The campaign director-general noted that his decision to serve in Senator Nwoko’s campaign structure despite being from Ika North-East Local Government Area, the same area as one of the senator’s major challengers, was a reflection of his conviction that Nwoko remains the most credible option for Delta North.

He particularly commended Senator Nwoko’s sustained advocacy for the creation of Anioma State, describing the movement as one of the most significant political developments in the region in recent years.

Kerry said the campaign for Anioma State has elevated the region to the forefront of national political discourse while creating renewed hope for greater political inclusion and economic development for the people of Delta North.

According to him, the progress already recorded in the struggle for the proposed state should encourage all Anioma people to unite behind Senator Nwoko’s leadership and vision.

The campaign DG further praised the senator’s legislative productivity, noting that he has sponsored more than 31 bills alongside several motions aimed at addressing national and constituency concerns.

He also highlighted Senator Nwoko’s role in the restoration of Aniocha North Constituency II, describing it as a major democratic achievement that contributed to renewed recognition for other previously disputed constituencies across Delta State.

Kerry added that the ongoing process concerning Ika North-East II, which is currently being handled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was also part of the broader impact of the senator’s interventions on constituency representation.

On infrastructure and constituency projects, he said Senator Nwoko facilitated the installation of over 2,000 streetlights and supported water projects across several communities, including Asaba, Idumuje-Ugboko, Onicha-Ugbo, Umunede, and other towns within the senatorial district.

He maintained that Senator Nwoko has consistently demonstrated genuine concern for the welfare and development of the people of Delta North and urged constituents to support his re-election bid in 2027.

Hon. Kerry also called on Deltans to support the second-term ambitions of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, saying both leaders deserve another tenure in office based on their achievements and contributions to governance.
