NDC House Of Reps Aspirant Ominimini Rejoices As Son Joins Nigerian Bar

Prominent Delta State politician and Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC), House of Representatives aspirant for the Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency, Chief Ominimini Obiuwevbi, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to God following the successful Call to Bar of his son, Barrister Jiro Obiuwevbi Ominimini.

The proud father shared a photograph on Friday July 10, 2026, from the memorable occasion on social media, capturing a significant milestone for the Ominimini family as the young lawyer formally joined the Nigerian Bar.

Overflowing with joy, Chief Ominimini described his son’s achievement as a testament to God’s faithfulness and grace.

“Glory to God Almighty,” he declared, giving thanks to God for seeing his son through the demanding journey to becoming a legal practitioner.

The photograph also captured some of the country’s foremost legal personalities, including the Chairman of the Body of Benchers, Chief Albert Akpomudje, SAN, who stood beside the newly admitted lawyer.

Also featured was Justice Rosaline Bozimo, former Chief Judge of Delta State and Administrator of the National Judicial Institute, further highlighting the significance of the occasion.

Adding to the family’s celebration was Chief Ominimini’s daughter, Miss Rukevwe Obiuwevbi Ominimini, a chartered accountant, who joined her father and brother in commemorating the remarkable achievement.

The Call to Bar of Barrister Jiro Obiuwevbi Ominimini marks not only the fulfilment of a personal dream but also reflects the family’s enduring commitment to education, excellence and professional service.

Chief Ominimini added with a heartfelt expression of gratitude, saying, “We love You, God,” in appreciation of what he described as God’s abundant blessings upon his family.
