The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State has intensified preparations for the party’s state-wide campaign flag-off scheduled to hold on November 5, 2026, at Oleh, the administrative headquarters of the local government.

The Local Government Campaign Coordinator, Sir Itiako Malik Ikpokpo,, disclosed this following a meeting of the campaign committee and an inspection of Oleh Stadium, which has been designated as the venue for the event.

Ikpokpo said the committee had put necessary arrangements in place to ensure a well-organized and successful rally, noting that various sub-committees had been constituted with clearly defined responsibilities to guarantee effective coordination.

He expressed confidence in the preparedness of the local government to receive Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, alongside other APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters expected at the campaign launch.

According to him, the committee is prioritising effective mobilisation, logistics and coordination to ensure a hitch-free event.

He also described the forthcoming rally as an important opportunity for the APC to demonstrate its political strength, unity and grassroots support across Isoko South.

Ikpokpo urged party members, supporters and residents to identify with the preparations and participate actively in the mobilisation efforts, expressing optimism that Oleh would provide a befitting atmosphere for the state-wide political gathering.

The meeting, hosted by the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Dr. Godwin Adolor, brought together prominent political leaders and stakeholders from the area.

Among those present were the members representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko; member representing Isoko South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Ferguson Onwo; and APC candidate for Isoko South Constituency I in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Idoveh Sabon.

Also in attendance was the Delta State APC Organising Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, alongside other party chieftains and stakeholders.

The committee’s deliberations and inspection of the stadium form part of broader efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, harmonise the activities of the various sub-committees and put adequate logistical arrangements in place ahead of the expected arrival of party leaders and supporters.

The November 5 campaign flag-off is expected to serve as a major platform for the APC to consolidate its political structures, engage supporters and intensify mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

With preparations gaining momentum, the Isoko South APC leadership has expressed its determination to deliver a successful campaign launch that will reflect the party’s organisational capacity and political presence in Delta State.
