The Anglican Children Ministry (ACM) of Bethel Anglican Church has marked this year’s Children’s Day celebration with a visit to Trinitan Orphanage Home, Achala-Igbozor, Asaba, Delta State, where members shared gifts, love, and words of encouragement with the children.

The outreach, led by two ACM teachers alongside the children of Bethel Anglican Church, formed part of the ministry’s tradition of reaching out to orphanage homes during special occasions.

The visit was filled with prayers, interactions, and moments of joy as the children spent quality time with the residents of the orphanage home.

Speaking during the visit, the ACM Leader, Kenneth Orusi, appreciated the caregivers of the orphanage for their commitment, sacrifice, and care towards the children.

He noted that the visit was a routine act of love and service by the children of Bethel Anglican Church, aimed at sharing with others and demonstrating the love of Christ.

According to him, the church remains committed to supporting and encouraging the children at the orphanage home through regular visits and acts of kindness.

He also assured the children of God’s unfailing love and blessings, encouraging them to remain hopeful and steadfast despite life’s challenges.

In an emotional moment during the visit, the children at the orphanage took turns to pray for the children of Bethel Anglican Church for coming to celebrate Children’s Day with them and for remembering them during the occasion.

One of the caregivers at the orphanage home also offered prayers for the church and the ACM, thanking them for their continued support and for always identifying with the children at the home.

The visit ended with the presentation of gifts, alongside moments of fellowship and appreciation between both groups of children.
