Do Your Best To Avoid Query, Delta Police Boss Urges Promoted Officers

Newly promoted officers in the Delta state police command, have been charged to be careful in order not to attract query in their files.

The charge was given on Friday 19th February 2021, by the State Commissioner of Police Ari Muhammed Ali, during the decoration of newly promoted officers at the headquarters, Asaba.

According to the Ag Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, the joy of the officers knew no bound.

The CP while congratulating the promoted officers pointed out that their promotion was as a result of hard work, stressing that there was no hiding place for those promoted as more rank means more responsibilities.

He said they have all ascended different levels, urging them to do their best to avoid query which might affect them in their future promotions.

The Police boss enjoined them, that as they grow in the job, they should be more careful as they have been saddled with more responsibility.

The Commissioner of Police tasked them to take seriously the supervision of men posted under them, so that they would not be held vicariously liable.
