Delta State Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro has said the death of a loved one was painful but for those who died in Christ have the hope of resurrection with Him.
Deacon Kingsley Otuaro made the remark during an open air funeral service in honour of Reverend Mrs Isabella Agbarah at Ogboloamabri in Nembe,Bayelsa State.
The Deputy Governor said the late Reverend Mrs Isabella Agbarah lived a life of dedication and service to God and humanity which was evident in the testimonies of people who encountered her during her life time.
He described her as an outstanding Minister of the gospel noting that she had sterling virtues and lived an exemplary life which would be missed by everybody who knew her.
Deacon Otuaro who said he had strong relationship with the deceased urged the husband, children and family members to be strengthened by the impact full she lived.
He said he was pained by her demise and recalled some moments they shared while she was alive.
In a sermon Reverend Emmanuel Ameh of the Church of God Mission International said the best way for Christians to live their lives was to be conscious of eternity at every point in time.
He said the reason Jesus Christ came was for man to be reconciled with God so that he can spend eternity with God.
The Religious Minister noted that judgement day was coming where everybody would give account of how they lived their lives stressing that nothing can stop it.
Reverend Ameh told the church that late Mrs Agbarah was an example of how a christian should live and advised the people to live right with God and relate with with their fellows humans well.
In a tribute,the husband of the deceased, Reverend O.J Agbarah which was read by one of the children,Sarah Agbarah said they have been on the journey together adding that his consolation was that his late wife had gone to be with the Lord.
Others who spoke said she had many spiritual children who she raised in the things of God and family life.
In an interview some of the children of late Reverend Mrs Isabella Agbarah including Seth an Aide to the Deputy Governor and Mrs Tari Botu said the memory of their mother would continue to linger on even in death.
Late Reverend Mrs Isabella Agbarah aged 71 was an ordained minister of God and was the Zonal President of the Christian Women Fellowship International in Church of God Mission, Ejinyere zone,Warri as well as member of several outreaches.
She is survived by her husband, eight children,twenty two grand children and several relatives.
The member representing Warri south west Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Emomotimi Guwor and some Aides of the Deputy Governor among other from different parts of the country attended the funeral ceremony.
