Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke has floored the sitting governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola to win the Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke scored a total of 403, 371 while the APC pulled 375, 027, with a wide margin of 28, 344.
The results which were declared Sunday July 17th 2022, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Returning Officer, Oluwatoyin Temitayo, said the PDP governorship candidate haven fulfilled all the requirements “is hereby declared and returned the winner of the election.
Adeleke of PDP won 17 out of the 30 local government areas of the state.
