Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has sown in every nook and cranny of Delta State and Nigeria at large. The former Minister of State for Education has sown as PDP stallwart, as an indusrialist and as an embodiment of goodwill.
As a PDP man, he was one of the founders of the party in the state and since then, he has remains fervent, committed, reliable and supportive. Even when he wanted to contest at time and the bigwigs of the party met and pleaded with him to step down, he did not pick offence. He took it by his stride. He honourably did without any equanimity.
Olorogun Gbagi as a former Minister of State for Education, established numerous Universities, Polytechnics, colleges of Educations and a host of Secondary Schools across Nigeria. All these tertiary institutions are thriving well and remain some of the best federal higher institutions in the country today.
In all the successive Governors of the State since 1999, the industrialist mogul has contributed his quotas to their successes in the polls. As a PDP big wig in the state, all the past Governors right from the time of Chief James Onanefe Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduagha upto this Senator, Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa regimes, Olorogun Gbagi has been very supportive. Members the largest political party in Africa can attest to this glaring fact. Gbagi is a think tank in PDP and that makes him indispensable to any intending contestant both as a Governor, senator, House of Representatives, State House of Assembly and the rest. Apart from all these, the man Gbagi has contributed to the appointments of many Deltans both at the Federal and State levels.
Gbagi, a lawyer and Criminologist by profession is a world aclaimeded industrialist. Gbagi has what it takes to turn Delta State to a global economy. Olorogun Gbagi shopping malls in the oil city of Warri provide means of livelihood to many Deltans and people from other parts of the country. The former Education Minister has Five Stars Hotels in almost all the big cities in Nigeria and all these provide employment for many graduates amongst others.
Men and women of influence like Gbagi in the Delta State are some of the reasons why Delta is regarded as one of the indispensable states in Nigeria which cannot be toyed with by the Federal Government. For instance, if a list of policy makers is to be compiled in Delta State, Olorogun Gbagi’s name will appear between number one and ten as the case may be.
Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is an incorruptable man in Nigeria. He made his money by virtue of hard work and labour. He detest anything that looks like or has an element of crook in nature. As a former Minister for Education, Gbagi was not found wanting before, during and after his service to his father’s land. Some of the politicians Gbagi served with as Ministers have been invited uncountable times by EFCC and ICPC but not once has the industrial mugul been invited.
Though it is a known secret that since he indicated interest to contest for the number one seat of our dear state, many missiles of character assassinations have been targeted and fired at him by mischief makers. Some said the man, Gbagi has a lion in his country home at Oginibo, some said he does not pay his workers and recently some young ladies including a young man were paid by some persons and perceived enemies who stripped themselves naked and claimed that Gbagi himself through the help of his security men the stripped them naked. However, Deltans now know that these peddling all these inflammatory rumours are pathological liers. These mischief makers and rumour mongers are those who have seen Gbagi as “Olumo Rock” in the race to Osadebe’s house in 2023 and the only way they feel they can stop him is to blackmail and tarnish his image before Deltans. Thank God that Deltans now know the truth and willing to support and send Gbagi to Government House in 2023.
Olorogun Gbagi is a known wealthy man both in the State and Nigeria at large. Among all the intending contestants for the number one seat come 2023, Gbagi is the only one who commenced consultations two years ago and till date he is still going about consulting not minding whose Ox is god. The industrialist is not spending money acquired as a result of the position he occupied in government but his owned hard earned money.
Olorogun Gbagi is also known in every nook and cranny of our dear country especially in Delta State as a great humanitarian who hates to see his fellow human beings suffering. He gives scholarships to Deltans in different tertiary institutions. Apart from that, he usually pay hospital bills for indigent citizens. Many old men, women and challenged Deltans are in Gbagi’s pay roll.
In all these, Ologun Kenneth Omemieva Gbagi has sown and Deltans should allow him to reap the rewards of his good works by encouraging and allowing him to take over the mantle of leadership of our dear state from “the Road Master”, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2023.
