Chairman of the party in the State Ambassador Oke Idawene, lamented that his demise, disclosing that both of them spoke yesterday Monday 15th February 2021, only to hear of his sudden death in the early hours of today Tuesday 16th February 2021.
Chief Otoba, was also the Vice Chairman of the party in Delta Central and Chairman Election and Campaign Committee for his party.
“SAD! SAD!! SAD!!!. Oh only yesterday we spoke, today I got the news that you died last night. Chief FRED OTOBA. Vice Chairmanship Candidate Ethiope east local government area election.
“Vice Chairman Delta Central SDP Delta State. Chairman Election and Campaign Committee for the local government area election.Vanity oh life is Indeed vanity”, he regretted.
Also, the Acting Publicity Secretary
of the party in the state, Onyeka Eboma Elum, said: “We the entire member of SDP Delta State Chapter regret to announce the death of Chief FRED OTOBA who died last night.
“Until his death, he was Vice Chairmanship Candidate Ethiope East LGA Election. Vice Chairman DELTA Central SDP DELTA STATE. Chairman Election and Campaign Committee for LGA Election.
Adding, he said, “Please note they will be a 3 days mourning, all campaigns for next month Delta State Local Government Elections by members of SDP should hold till Saturday”.
