DELTA 2023: Governorship Hopeful Sends Strong Message To Contenders

A frontline governorship hopeful in Delta State and former Minister of State for Education, Chief Kenneth Gbagi has challenged aspirants for the 2023 governorship election to show their balance sheets.

Olorogun Gbagi, one of the founding fathers of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), in the state put the challenge to contenders on Saturday 3rd 2021, during a ceremony organized by traders and managements of Robinson Kenneth Gbagi Plaza, Déco road Warri as he commission an upgraded section of the shopping mall with a luxury convenience.

Gbagi challenged aspirants to show their balance sheet from 1999 till date, adding that he is the most qualify among aspirants to contest under the ruling PDP in the state.

He assured Deltans that nothing would stop his aspiration, adding that he would win the election and take over governance of the state from the incumbent, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa come 2023.

Speaking further, Gbagi promised to build more shops for Deltans to do business as his shopping malls was built to support business growth and economic sustainability.

He also said that, “there are people who believe in development of Delta State, the development move has just begun, come 2023, I will be sworn in as the governor of Delta state. Don’t be afraid, i remain a strong PDP member in Delta state.

“No matter the blackmail I will contest, we will give battle for battle, fire for fire, as long as 2023 is concern there is no going back. I commissioned this mall 25 years ago, in this modern era I can do more”.

Gbagi commended Governor ifeanyi Okowa, stating the Okowa a  brother and friend and he has done well and he has contributed to the growth of the state.
