A passenger who survived the Enugu Air aircraft crash landing at Benin Airport has shared a chilling account of the incident, describing how the experience changed his outlook on life.

The survivor, Nigerian rapper and content creator Chinedu, popularly known as Triple Pin, narrated his ordeal in a video posted on his Instagram page following the accident.

According to him, heavy rainfall significantly reduced visibility throughout the flight, raising concerns about the aircraft’s ability to land safely amid the adverse weather conditions.

He recalled that as the aircraft approached Benin Airport, the pilot reportedly circled several times in an apparent attempt to secure a safe landing before the situation deteriorated.

Triple Pin said the aircraft eventually veered off the runway into a nearby bush, triggering panic among passengers as loud noises filled the cabin.

Despite the frightening experience, he said all occupants survived, adding that the rain may have prevented the aircraft from catching fire after leaving the runway.

Reflecting on the incident, the content creator expressed gratitude for surviving unhurt, saying the experience reminded him of how fragile life can be and how close he came to losing everything he had worked for.

The Enugu Air aircraft was involved in the crash landing on Thursday while arriving at Benin Airport.

Authorities are expected to determine the exact cause of the incident as investigations continue.
