Police Operatives Apprehend Three Suspected Cultists

Three notorious cultists suspected to be terrorizing innocent citizens have been arrested after their hideout was raided by the police in Anambra State.

The Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr. Monday Bala Kuryas, has reassure all Ndi Anambra that the Command under his watch would continue to work assiduously until crime in the State is reduced to the barest minimum.

The Police boss implore well meaning members of the public resident in the state to co-oporate with the police and report persons with suspicious movements to the nearest Police Station, call the Command emergency number 112 or call 07039194332 for prompt response.

The hoodlums met their Waterloo on 28th February 2021 at about 6:20am, after receiving credible intelligence report.

According to be Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) CSP Haruna Mohammed, the police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti-cult unit (SPACS) arrested three notorious cultists following raids conducted at their hideouts.

Those nabbed are Ogonna Uche Joel, 18 years of Amawbia in Awka south local government area of Anambra State.

Ebube Ogonna, 19 years of same address and Onwuamaeze Arinze 25 years of Amawa village, Ogbunike in Oyi local government area of Anambra State.

The arrested suspects “confessed to be members of “PAYTON”and “VIKINGS CONFRATERNITY”, just as the police disclosed that they would be charged to court for prosecution after investigation was concluded
