Secretary General, South-East Obidient movement, Chinedu Oha has called on National Judiciary Institute, NJI, to as a matter of urgency call to order Judges handling election tribunal in South East as more evidences on allege bribe are witness at the tribunals.
Mr Oha who in a statement made available to journalists pointed on the ongoing election tribunal hearing the case between Labour Party (LP) candidate, Hon Amobi Ogah who defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nkiru Onyejiocha in Isuikwuatu/Umunneochi Federal Constituency said APC candidate has finalized plans with tribunal judges to upturn the election clearly won by the labour candidate.
According to him, “Information reaching Obidient group has it that on the 2nd May, 2023, tribunal judges with the secretary went to Hon Nkiru Onyejiocha’s house at maitama, Abuja and collected N31 Million through her Personal Assistant to Upturn the Judgement in her favour.
“A woman who has been in the National Assembly for over 16 years and rejected by her constituency in the last general election due to non performance, instead of accepting defeat decided to bribe her way to the National Assembly again.
“We the Obidient movements nationwide are watching and will not accept anything less than transparency in the process leading to the Judgement of the above case.
“We will expose any Judicial staff who would be use to compromise the process and publicly disgrace them. Enough is enough”.
