Anambra State Police Recover Four Vehicles Suspected To Be Snatched, Stolen

The Anambra state police command has recovered four vehicles suspected to have been stolen or snatched at gunpoint.

The recovery was carried out by the Command patrol teams attached to CPS Awka, Neni and Oraifite Divisions while on routine patrols in the State.

The vehicles includes a golden coloure Sienna car with Registration number MUS 996 FB recovered along Enugu/Onitsha Expressway, a dark ash unregistered Lexus 350 car recovered at Akwaeze/Oraeri/Igboukwu road, a dark blue Toyota Corolla car with registration number JJT 810 SA also recovered along Akweaze/Igboukwu road.

Other items recovered in the vehicles includes seven phones, ATM card,voters card, drivers licence bearing Nduaguba Belonwu Fredrick of Isiokpo Street Awada Onitsha Anambra State and vehicle’s purchase receipt.

Meanwhile on 1st February 2021 at about 7:30pm, there was a lone motor accident at Ibolo Oraifite, opposite ST-Luke Anglican Church Ibolo involving a Red Toyota Camry with registration number MUS -883-GN.

According to be Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Haruna Mohammed, no occupants were found inside the car.

However, when the vehicle was searched one barreta pistol was recovered inside the car.

All the vehicles were recovered to the stations and efforts are being intensified to apprehend the fleeing suspects in order to bring them to justice.
