Governor Okowa represented by his Deputy, Barr. Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, commiserated with Archbishop God Do-well Avwomakpa, his family and the church.
He said Late Mrs Victoria Avwomakpa lived a life worthy of emulation, dedicated to the service of God and humanity, a formidable companion of her husband all through her lifetime.
The Deputy Governor said although she died when her wise counsel is most needed, the family is consoled by the fact that she has gone to be with her creator.
Barr. Otuaro advised all to emulate her virtues, diligence and courage as she has left indelible footprints in the sands of time.
He described the founder of the Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church, Archbishop God-Dowell Avwomakpa as a man of wisdom, that has been supportive to the State Government.
He prayed God to strengthen the family and make them bear her irreparable loss.
The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege eulogied the late Mrs. Victoria Avwomakpa as a great woman of God who has touched many lives.
The Guest Preacher, Apostle Zilly Aggrey who believes that what one sows on earth, one will reap said that the late Victoria was a rare gem.
The funeral service attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, members of the Federal House of Representatives, Wife of the Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator James Manager, founder of Word of Life Bible Church Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, among others.
Late Mrs Victoria Avwomakpa died at the age of 68, she is survived by her husband, 9 children and 21 grandchildren among other relatives.
