The Nigerian army has honoured the former Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, for his immense contributions and support to the 63 Brigade headquarters in Asaba, Delta State.
The member representing Ndokwa east State Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), was among dignitaries honoured by the army on Wednesday during the commissioning of infrastructural development.
The honour was presented by Brigadier Gen. Ibrahim Jallo, to the lawmaker fondly addressed as “the empowerment master”, for his philanthropic work.
The lawmaker was in company of the Commender to receive the State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Olorogun David Edevbie, and the General Officer Commanding the 6th Division of the Nigerian Army Major Gen. Felix O. Agugo.
Osanebi, expressed appreciation to the army for the recognition, stressing that it would encourage him in supporting the state government in fighting insecurity in order to maintain peace across the state.
