College Of Education To Immortalize Name Of Delta HoS

The federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, has concluded plans to Immortalize the name of the Delta state Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Reginald Bayoko, at an ongoing Union Secretariat building in the school.

The decision to Immortalize the name of the number Civil Servant in the state, is due to his immense contributions to humanity and unprecedented performance in the Delta State Civil Service.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the Provost of the College, Dr. Mrs. Josephine Anene, revealed that she had known Mr. Bayoko for over thirty years and his unequalled passion for service,  integrity and his unparallel disposition towards the needs of people is highly appreciated by many.

Dr. Mrs. Anene enjoined Bayoko not to be distracted in his godly disposition to humanity saying that good name is better than money even as she encourage him to continue to build a virile Civil Service for tomorrow.

Responding, Mr Bayoko, who was elated by the action of the Union and management of the College, said that even though it is against his basic principle of not being projected, accepted the request and assure them of his continuous support to see that the building is completed at the appropriate time.

He charged the Executive of the Union to always seek advice from the management of the college at all time so as to add value to themselves and the Institution which they serve.

Chairman of the Senior Staff Union of Colleges of Education in Nigeria, Asaba branch, Comrade Fasika Olakunla thanked the HoS for the acceptance of naming the ongoing Secretariat after him and to use the name to bring goodwill and greater opportunities.
