The Royal Mother of Anioma Nation and Nneoha, Her Royal Majesty (HRM) Obi Martha Dunkwu has played host to two prominent Igbo businessmen, the Ogilisi Igbo, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka and the Executive Director of J.I Ejison International Ltd, Chief J.I. Ukeji who visited to seek her impeccable counsel on the way forward for the Igbos in a country divided along ethnic lines with self-serving individuals as leaders.
The visit further cemented the astounding relationship the Igbos had established with Omu Martha Dunkwu over the years.
Chief Ukeji who came purposely to meet with Omu Dunkwu one on one for the first time, extended an invitation for her to visit his home town for a reception in her honour.
He said the Igbos are proud of Omu Dunkwu for being bold enough to tell the truth about their non strategic inclination in commerce and political future in Nigeria.
The Ogilisi Igbo, who had previously hosted Omu Anioma at his Rojenny Holiday Resort in Oba, Anambra State, congratulated the Omu on her recent coronation as NNEOHA by Igwe Nsukka, proclaiming that her motherhood had now become all encompassing.
Ogilisi Igbo reported that the Igbos all over the world had been putting heads together over her few years’ Enugu speech on the need for the Igbos to stop being slavishly industrious and begin to build business empires in Igbo heartland instead of the diaspora.
He assured Omu that the Igbos have the potential and capacity to produce more than 100 Dangotes in business, thereby stating that they had started harmonizing and galvanizing interests on the way forward.
Meanwhile, Omu Anioma appreciated the duo for honouring her with their august visit and prayed that the relationship the Igbos had built with her would never lose taste.
While giving a brief history of the Omu institution, Obi Dunkwu reiterated that the Igbos must begin to cluster their businesses in Igbo land as nobody knows what tomorrow holds for any man and generally Nigeria at this time.
She condoled with Chief Ukeji on the recent demise of his dearly beloved mother, assuring him that God would grant him and siblings the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Nneoha however, pledged to continue to collaborate with Igbo like-minds towards an enduring business and political pathways for the Igbos.
