The Okada rider, putting his social status in the society on the scale, would not be judged to be a rich man not an average man on Monday returned a whopping sum of N700, 000 to the rightful owner.
The unbelievable happened in Oghareki, Ethiope east local government area of Delta State.
It was learnt that the Okada rider carried the woman while alighting from the bike, he noticed that something fell off the woman who had already entered into the market for her business.
On discovering that what fell off her was her money, she started wailing bitterly over her missing N700, 000 when the “Good Samaritan” Okada rider traced her to the market and handover the money to her.
Jubilation erupted in the market following the act of the Okada rider as it is rare for such persons to still exist in a country adjudged to be one of the most corrupt countries in the commity of nations.
While praising the man for being a patriotic Nigerian and an ambassador of hope to the common man, market women and men called on the federal and state governments to recognize him for his truthfulness.
