Senator Nwoko Rejoices With Obi (Prof) Azinge On His Coronation As 14th Asagba Of Asaba

Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, in the National Assembly (NASS), has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge, SAN, OON on his successful coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba.

In his congratulatory message made available to journals on Saturday October 5, 2024, Senator Nwoko, acknowledged the deep responsibility that comes with the role of Asagbaship.

He described the new Asagba as the “heart and soul” of Asaba, noting that the Asagba’s position extends beyond the ceremonial.

The Senator stated that His Royal Majesty would be looked upon as a beacon of wisdom, strength, and unity that will guide the people of Asaba through both prosperous and challenging times.

“It is with profound respect and great joy that I congratulate you on your coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba. This is not just a moment of personal triumph for you, it is a historic moment in the life of our people.

“Your coronation marks the continuation of a cherished legacy, and with it comes the weight of history and the hope for a brighter future.

The chairman, Senate Committee on reparations and repatriation further expressed confidence in His Royal Majesty.
