Senator Nwoko Mourns Dr. Dunkwu

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Dr. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu, Deputy Chief of Staff (Legislative) in the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In a condolence message, Senator Nwoko said he received the news of Dr. Dunkwu passed in Abuja at the age of 54 with deep sorrow and shock.

The senator described the late Dunkwu as a dedicated, courageous, and highly resourceful professional who remained steadfast in his commitment to noble causes throughout his lifetime.

He noted that Dr. Dunkwu displayed exceptional patriotism and integrity in public service, highlighting his significant contributions to the National Assembly and national development during nearly a decade of distinguished service.

According to Senator Nwoko, the late Dunkwu also brought the same level of dedication to his recent role as President of the Nigerian Aquatics Federation, where he worked diligently to revitalize the organization and reposition it as an important pillar in the development of sports in Nigeria.

The lawmaker further remarked that Dr. Dunkwu would be remembered as a compassionate patriot who consistently supported and uplifted those around him through acts of generosity and philanthropy that impacted many lives.

“My sincere condolences go to his immediate family, the people of his Ute-Okpu community, and the many individuals whose lives he touched through his remarkable kindness. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” Senator Nwoko stated.
