Three persons were reportedly killed while one was severely wounded following a reckless driver who rammed into a newspaper stand located at Iyara Roundabout, Warri.
Tragedy struck on Saturday 17th July 2022, as the driver who drove In a white colour Range Rover Jeep with registration number Delta EFR 940-TT rammed into the popular newspaper stand in the early evening.
The three deceased free newspaper readers died on the spot while one other person was severely injured in the process.
An eye witness narrated that the incident occurred while the driver of the ill-fated vehicle tried to negotiate the roundabout at high speed, lost control before ramming into the newspaper stand.
It was further gathered that the driver sustained serious injuries while the two occupants who are girls were unhurt.
Some police men were seen investigating the accident when reporters arrived the scene.
Passersby were also seen discussing the fatal accident.
