The Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has extended warm felicitations to his longtime friend and former student leader, Austine Ayemidejor, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing him as a man of rare integrity and enduring character.
In a goodwill message marking the milestone, Osuoza reflected on their shared history during their days in the Students’ Union Government at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, where Ayemidejor served as Senate President during the 1988/1989 academic session.
According to him, their relationship, forged in the crucible of student leadership nearly four decades ago, has remained strong over the years, built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to service.
Osuoza recalled that while Ayemidejor served as Senate President, he had the privilege of serving as Secretary-General of the Students’ Union Government as well as Secretary-General of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
He noted that through the passage of time, one quality has consistently defined Ayemidejor’s personality, unwavering integrity.
“Anyone who knows Chief Austine Ayemidejor understands that his word carries weight. When he says ‘yes,’ it is a commitment that remains firm regardless of circumstances,” Osuoza said.
He further described the celebrant as a man whose principles are not shaped by convenience but guided by enduring values rooted in faith and moral conviction.
“In a time when consistency of character is increasingly rare, Chief Austine Ayemidejor stands tall as a man whose word remains his bond,” he added.
Osuoza praised Ayemidejor’s exemplary conduct over the years, noting that his life continues to inspire many who value honesty, loyalty, and principled leadership.
“As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, I honour not only his achievements but also the values he represents, integrity, steadfastness, and service to humanity,” he said.
The Commissioner prayed for continued divine blessings upon the celebrant, wishing him good health, wisdom, and many more years of meaningful impact.
