New Police Commissioner Vows To Enthrone Peace, Security In Delta

The new Police Commissioner, Mohammed Ari Ali, has vowed work in synergy with other sister security agencies geared towards enthroning peace and security in Delta state.

He pledged to leverage on the existing security mechanism already in place towards enthroning the reign of peace and safety.

He advised the public to always co-operate with the Police and other security agencies to secure lives and property.

He is taking over from AIG Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, who was recently elevated to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police and redeployed to Zone 13.

He enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 3rd March, 1990 and attended the elite Police Academy Kaduna.

CP Ali hails from Doma local government area of Nasarawa State.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Library/Political Science from the University of Maiduguri, a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from the Delta State University, Abraka and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Relations from Irish University Business School, Penbroke Square, UK.

He is a thorough bred professional Police Officer who brings intellectualism to bear on his operational activities and believes that fighting crime is a collective effort.

He was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police on 18th December 2020.

CP Mohammed Ari Ali is married and blessed with children.
