NAWOJ Recognize Four Outstanding Journalists In Delta

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), has recognized four of its own for outstanding performance in the Journalism profession I Delta State.

The female were on Thursday 11th March 2021, given recognition of Positive Achievements by NAWOJ.

One of the awardees, Mrs. Alicia Medua Okobi, the Special Assistant on Media to the wife of the Delta state governor, Dame Edith Okowa, disclosed that the award was her second one this year.

“This is my second award this year. I remain grateful to God for the opportunity to serve and the Grace to be recognized. I pray that the Lord will help me to do more.

“Congratulations to my fellow awardees, more wins for all hard-working women. I challenge you to good works”, she said.

Also, the Special Assistant on Media to the State Deputy Governor, Elohor Rita Agbra, appreciated God for being among the four recognized female journalists.

Hear her: “I am grateful to God Almighty to be among the four outstanding Women Journalists on political appointments honoured by the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Delta State Chapter, in recognition of my achievements in Journalism.

“Thank you NAWOJ for recognizing my feat. As we mark the International Women’s Day, I choose to challenge women to live up to expectations. God bless NAWOJ, Delta state”, added.
