Comrade Mulade the National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Centre for Peace and Environmental justice (CEPEJ) appreciated God for giving the government the right wisdom in appointing Pastor Oteri to successfully take over as substantive General Manager of DBS Warri, commending the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for such a well deserved professional decision at appointing the right person in the media house.
The CEPEJ National Coordinator, described Pastor Oteri as a true Man of God, discharging his duties according to God direction and power, he assured him of continuous support in order to move the broadcasting establishment to higher platforms.
Chief Mulade who is also a traditional title holder from the great Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri south west local government area of the state, urged staff of DBS to support the new GM to succeed.
According to Chief Mulade “Pastor Malcolm Oteri is a professional journalist/media manager who is a very humble man because I’m a fan of DBS both Warri and Asaba I will always support the establishment to prosper therefore I appeal to others to support our own broadcasting station in order for us to reach out passing them as gate way”.
It would be recall that two weeks ago a release from the Delta state ministry
of information through the permanent secretary office read thus “the Governor has also approved the confirmation of the appointment of Mr Malcolm Nnamdi Oteri as the substantive General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service DBS, Warri.
“The board of both parastatals has been directed to issue a letter of confirmation of appointment to Mr Malcolm Nnamdi Oteri and Mr Francis Whyte Osabohien in deference to governor’s approval.
“Mr Malcolm Oteri shall assume duty as substantive General Manager with effect from September 1, 2020 while Mr Francis Osabohien will assume duty as General Manager, DBS Asaba on Saturday September 5, 2020″.
