By Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza.
There is a timeless truth that every society, and indeed every individual, must reflect upon: if God loves the person you hate, you are in trouble.
It is a profound reminder that human prejudice can never overturn divine purpose, and that our personal biases do not determine whom God chooses to bless, elevate, or use for the good of His people.
As Delta State continues on its developmental journey under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, this truth resonates even more deeply.
Leadership ultimately finds its strongest validation not in the volume of criticism it attracts, but in the tangible impact it makes on the lives of ordinary people.
Governor Oborevwori has consistently projected himself as a leader of humility, compassion, and uncommon dedication to the welfare of Deltans.
His administration has remained focused on expanding infrastructure, promoting peace, strengthening institutions, and advancing policies designed to improve the quality of life across the state. These are the qualities that continue to inspire hope and confidence among the people.
Those who allow hatred, resentment, or political bitterness to cloud their judgment must remember that no amount of hostility can frustrate a purpose that enjoys divine favour.
The weight of hatred is a burden borne by the hater alone, while faith, humility, and acceptance bring peace of mind and clarity of purpose.
For many Deltans, Governor Oborevwori represents stability, hope, and continuity. What gives the people peace of mind should not be carelessly taken away by needless acrimony or destructive politics.
Progress is best sustained when citizens rally behind leadership that has demonstrated sincerity of purpose and commitment to the common good.
As preparations gradually gather momentum for another electoral cycle, many will continue to pray that Almighty God grants Governor Sheriff Oborevwori greater wisdom, renewed strength, and divine direction to pilot the affairs of Delta State in the best interest of all.
May God continue to open doors of mercy for him and his family, bless the work of his hands, accept his worship, and cause his star to shine even brighter in service to humanity.
Ultimately, accepting God’s will is one of life’s greatest sources of peace. Hearts consumed by envy or bitterness seldom find rest, but hearts that embrace humility, gratitude, and goodwill are always at peace. In the end, no opposition can prevail against a purpose ordained by God.
May Delta State continue to enjoy peace, progress, and purposeful leadership, and may every decision taken be guided by wisdom, justice, and the collective interest of the people.
