Chairman of the Delta State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Hon. Samuel Mariere, has felicitated with Olorogun O’tega Emerhor on the occasion of his birthday, marked today, 25th November 2025.
In a statement released in Asaba, Hon. Mariere said he felt a deep sense of gratitude and joy in joining well-wishers across the world to celebrate a man he described as exceptional in leadership and character.
The SUBEB Chairman noted that Olorogun Emerhor has been more than a leader to him, describing him as a father-figure, steadfast mentor, and consistent source of inspiration to many.
He lauded Emerhor’s unwavering commitment to the people, his humility despite his influence, and his relentless pursuit of progress, qualities he said have made an enduring impact on countless lives.
He said: “Today, we celebrate not just another year, but the remarkable journey of a man whose vision, integrity, and compassion have shaped the destinies of many. Mariere— a two-term member of the Delta State House of Assembly and former Commissioner for Water Resources Development, prayed that the celebrant enjoys abundant health, boundless joy, and the fulfillment that comes with knowing he has positively touched many lives.
