God Is Behind My Ascension, Successful Tenure — Pastor Nomuoja

Outgoing Caretaker Committee Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Pastor Kesiena Nomuoja has said his ascension and success in office was purely by the favour and mercy of God Almighty.

He also appreciated the former Governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, his successor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori and other leaders of the PDP both at the state and local government for the privilege and support accorded him to serve as caretaker chairman of the party in Ughelli North.

Pastor Nomuoja who spoke at his thanksgiving reception in his home residence at Agbarho which was preceded by a thanksgiving service at Living Faith Church, LFC, Agbarho, Ughelli North, stressed the need to always give thanks to God who holds and give power to men.

He said God is the one that gives power to whom he please, adding that there was no better way to show appreciation than to use whatever office he has given you to better others and humanity in general.

In his admonition, the Resident Pastor of LFC Agbarho, Pastor Israel Abiola, urged those in power and authority to used their position to better the lives of others and impact humanity.

He described the action of Pastor Nomuoja, by returning back to thank God after a successful tenure as a very wise decision and prayed God to bless and continue to elevate him to greater heights.

Speaking in a brief interview with Journalist, Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Jaro Egbo described Pastor Nomuoja as a unifier that has increased the fortune of the party within his two year stay as caretaker chairman of the party.

He called for higher office for the outgoing chairman in order for the state and the party to continue to enjoy his wealth of experience, describing him as a very humble and experienced peoples servant.

Also speaking, newly elected Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ughelli North, Mr. Lucky Ofomukoro, said Pastor Nomuoja was a humble personality who’s shoes would be difficult to fill.

He said, “I can say he is a very humble person. He does not do anything without consulting, he believes in carrying everybody along and does not do anything on his own. He has been able to unify the party, and I will follow in his footsteps because I have seen it is the way to go. I wish him higher positions and success in future endeavors.”

Also extolling his personality, Deputy Registrar, Delta State College Technology, Ufuoma and younger brother to outgoing PDP Chairman, Charles Nomuoja, described him as a focused and hardworking personality, whose sacrifice for the PDP is gradually paying off.
