The incoming Governor of Delta State, under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has consoled with that of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ovie Omo-Agege over the sad incidence where five of his members reportedly died in a boat mishap while going for campaigns at Okerenkoko, Warri south west local government area of Delta State.
Gbagi, a frontline governorship flag bearer, while sympathizing with Omo-Agege and the State’s APC, lamented the accident which equally led to the missing of some members while others were hospitalized.
In a statement on 21st December 2022, Gbagi, condole the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
According to him, the tragedy was only the will of God which is inevitable.
“Though, the tragedy is painful that five persons reportedly died, God’s wish is always unquestionable and best for us.
“We regret the loss of lives and pray for the repose of the souls of the dead”,
He prayed for quick recovery of those hospitalized and divine comfort to the grieving families.
