Delta State Gears Up For 15th Biennial Police Games 2026

As part of the preparations for the upcoming 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA 2026), the Force Sports Planning Committee convened for a comprehensive two-day strategic conference in Asaba, Delta State, from January 16th to 17th, 2026.

This initiative is in anticipation of the Nigeria Police games scheduled to take place from February 7th to 14th, 2026.

The conference, led by AIG Fom Pam Joseph, Chairman of the Force Sports Planning Committee, focused on refining operational plans and logistics to ensure a seamless event.

The gathering saw the participation of senior officers from the Nigeria Police Force, including AIG Suleiman Abdul, CP Dantawaye Miller, CP Hassan Gwani, CP Osifo Emefiele, and CP Aina Adesola, Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, among others.

Key issues addressed during the conference included venue readiness, security measures, accommodation, transportation, medical services, and general logistics.

The Committee is dedicated to ensuring that BIPOGA 2026 reflects professionalism and readiness to host athletes and officials from police commands across the nation.

In addition to the conference discussions, the Committee conducted an inspection of the sporting facilities designated for the games, evaluating infrastructure, safety standards, and overall suitability for all participants.
