The Director of BigTent Diaspora and the convener of New Nigeria in Diaspora, Chief Dr David Solomon, has called on Deltans to participate actively in the forthcoming gubernatorial and house of Assembly election taking place on Saturday 03/18/23 to vote for only leaders with reputable character and entrepreneur mind to bring positive change that Delta State so deserve.
Dr. Solomon, who is Obidient to the core advised Deltans not to sell their conscience but vote for the candidate of the the Social Democratic Party (SDP), His Excellency Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, to liberate Delta State.
He called on all Delta true Obidients to shun all corrupt politicians with criminal records, and many people who are parading themselves as leaders but are after selfish interest
Dr. Solomon, who is Obidient to the core advised Deltans not to sell their conscience but vote for the candidate of the the Social Democratic Party (SDP), His Excellency Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, to liberate Delta State.
Chief Solomon who appealed to the electorate to use their votes wisely, emphasized that Deltans must think and rethink the candidate they would cast their votes for, so as not to vote any person who may worsen the state’s present challenges.
He called on all Delta true Obidients to shun all corrupt politicians with criminal records and take the advice of our presidential candidate, Peter Obi to vote for the man with capacity.
He said: “I am standing with Olorogun Barr Kenneth Gbagi of SDP for Governor of Delta state the only man with capacity to liberate Delta”.
Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has called on Nigerians, to vote for only competent candidates irrespective of their political parties.
Obi said this on Arise TV Morning Show, while responding to questions from the anchors of the programme, Oseni Rufai and Dr. Reuben Abati.
Peter Obi clarified the air on his position, saying only candidates that are competent be voted for in all the political parties, appealing that nobody should vote Labour Party candidate who’s incompetent and fraudulent.
According to him, “the Obidient movement are not necessarily Labour Party members many people in the Obidient movement have nothing to do with Labour Party.
“Aisha Yusuf is not a Labour Party member. We even have what is called the BIGTENT, those who believe and gathered.
“people who are supporting me today, as a presidential candidate who have nothing to do with Labour Party but they believe in what I am doing.
“They have right to choose who they want to support for Governor and as a Labour Party which I am a member. Members of Obidients family have their own choice”, he declared.

It would be recall that an umbrella body of professionals of Delta state origin, known as Delta Professionals Network,DPN, has drawn the attention of the general public and Deltans in particular to the probe panel set up by the Delta State government in 2009 which Indicted the Labour Party Candidate, Deacon Ken Pela while serving as chairman, Delta Building Society.
The Government probe Panel of inquiry headed by the then Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Hon George Orogun and later re-examined by another team headed by the then Delta State Deputy Governor, Prof Amos Utuama (SAN), a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, had found Ken Pela guilty of corruptly diverting public funds to personal use and enriching himself massively to the tune of N100 million.
It will also interest Deltans to know that candidate of APC was once shown when he stormed the National Assembly with thugs and took the maize.
The PDP candidate as well have some records to clear about certificate, character and capacity
Let us rise up and liberate ourselves by voting a man with character, capacity, and sagacity, with no political God father. That man is Olorogun Barr Kenneth Gbagi of SDP
DELTANS have suffered too much, we can no longer reward criminals and thugs by electing them into highest political offices.
This is our time to tell these politicians that enough is enough.
Delta State belongs to us all.
