Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has, felicitated former Delta State Governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, on the occasion of his 68th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor extolled Ibori’s leadership qualities and acknowledged his enduring contributions to the political and socio-economic development of Delta State.
Oborevwori described the former governor as a visionary leader whose courage, commitment and passion for public service helped shape the foundation for the state’s growth.
He noted that Ibori’s administration between 1999 and 2007 initiated landmark policies and projects that continue to influence governance and development across the state.
The governor further hailed Ibori as a respected elder statesman whose wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to Delta State remain a source of inspiration to many political leaders and citizens.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate our dynamic and inspirational leader, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, former Governor of Delta State, as he celebrates his 68th birth anniversary,” Oborevwori stated.
He prayed for God’s continued protection, sound health and long life for the former governor, wishing him greater fulfilment and many more years of impactful service.
“May this special occasion bring you abundant joy, renewed strength, good health and many more years of happiness. Congratulations on this remarkable milestone,” the governor added.
