Renowned peace advocate and Niger Delta development campaigner, Mulade Sheriff, has obtained the Expression of Interest Form to contest for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mulade, a respected environmental rights activist and development advocate from Delta State, expressed confidence in securing victory in the 2027 general elections scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Speaking after obtaining the form, he described the moment as significant and dedicated his political aspiration to God and the service of humanity.

The Ibe-Sorimowei of the ancient oil-rich Gbaramatu Kingdom also expressed appreciation to the national leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress and its leader, Henry Seriake Dickson, for providing him the opportunity to seek elective office and serve the people.

According to him, his ambition is driven by a commitment to peace, unity, inclusive representation, and sustainable development across Warri Federal Constituency.

“I believe this is the right time to offer purposeful leadership to the people of Warri Federal Constituency.

“I stand for peace, unity, development, and inclusive representation devoid of ethnic bias or division,” he stated.

Mulade further pledged to promote peaceful coexistence among the major ethnic nationalities within the constituency, including the Itsekiri, Ijaw, and Urhobo communities.

He assured constituents that he would work closely with traditional rulers, community stakeholders, political leaders, and youth groups to strengthen harmony and attract meaningful development to Warri and surrounding communities.

According to him, sustainable peace remains the foundation for economic growth, infrastructural advancement, and renewed investment in the ancient commercial hub of Delta State.

He emphasized that his approach would focus on dialogue, constructive engagement, advocacy, and inclusive leadership aimed at fostering progress and unity across the constituency.
