as party suspends campaign activities

The Governorship Campaign Council of Ovie Omo-Agege, All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for 2023 election in Delta State, was thrown into mourning following a boat mishap leading to the death of two persons.

The mishap equally led to the missing of three while seven are presently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

Trouble started on Tuesday December 20th 2022, when Omo-Agege went to Okerenkoko for the continuation of campaign ahead of 2023.

It was gathered that the boat was returning to Warri from Okerenkoko and Ugborodo communities in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta were they had gone for the party’s ongoing word-to-ward campaign.

Meanwhile, the party has placed all campaign activities on hold due to the unfortunate incident.

In a statement released by Imma Niboro, Media Director of Omo-Agege Campaign Organization, it disclosed that in view of the unfortunate incident, the party has suspended campaign activities till further notice.
