Mr. Eloho Idoro from Emevor, a recipient of an empowerment program facilitated by Hon. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, the Member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, has shared a powerful testimony underscoring what he describes as transparency, fairness, and a people-centric approach in the lawmaker’s initiatives.
In a recent Facebook post, Idoro reflected on his initial skepticism regarding the business expansion empowerment scheme launched last year, suspecting it, like many others, to be politically motivated.
However, his doubts were alleviated when he decided to prepare and submit a business plan for consideration, despite his reservations.
He stated that his application was shortlisted solely based on merit, leading to an in-person interview where he defended his business proposal.
“To the glory of God, I emerged as one of the 18 beneficiaries of the ₦500,000 empowerment grant, free from any political interference,” he expressed.
Idoro emphasized that this experience significantly transformed his views on governance and leadership, illustrating that integrity and fairness in public office are attainable.
“That singular act made me realize that there is still hope for the common man within the corridors of power,” he noted.
He praised Hon. Ukodhiko as a leader attentive to the concerns of his constituents, who responds decisively and without compromise.
Idoro commended both the lawmaker and his foundation for focusing on genuine empowerment rather than patronage.
In closing, Idoro expressed his gratitude and pledged ongoing support for Ukodhiko’s principles, programs, and vision for the Isoko nation, expressing confidence in his leadership and endorsing his bid for re-election in 2027.
