Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the revered monarch of Obi of Owa Kingdom, Emmanuel Efeizomor II, as the respected traditional ruler marks his 88th birth anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor described the monarch as one of Delta State’s most distinguished and accomplished traditional rulers whose leadership has significantly contributed to the progress of both Owa Kingdom and the state at large.
Governor Oborevwori noted that throughout his reign, Obi (Dr.) Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, has consistently demonstrated rare wisdom, commitment, and exemplary leadership in guiding the affairs of his kingdom while also playing a vital role in the broader development of Delta State.
He commended the royal father for his unwavering dedication to preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Owa people, describing him as a revered father figure whose life and leadership continue to inspire many within and beyond the kingdom.
The governor also acknowledged the remarkable transformation witnessed in Owa Kingdom under the monarch’s reign, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development and human capital growth, noting that these strides have strengthened the socio-economic advancement of the community.
Governor Oborevwori further praised the royal father for his service as the immediate past Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, stating that his tenure was defined by wisdom, humility, and a deep commitment to fostering peace and unity among traditional institutions across the state.
“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate His Royal Majesty, Obi (Dr.) Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, the Obi of Owa Kingdom, on the joyous occasion of his 88th birth anniversary,” the governor said.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the monarch, wishing him many more years of sound health, strength, and wisdom as he continues to serve Owa Kingdom, Delta State, and humanity at large.
